Commissioning of 33kV/11kV substation for an ICP ready for adoption by UKPN, including 3x 33000/11000v 20/30/40MVA transformers, 11kV Brush switchboard, protection relay panels, SCADA system, 110V DC and 48V DC auxiliary battery units.
All commissioning witnessed by DNO.
Tansterne 11kV Install
Site control cable installation and commissioning of the clients 11kV Network and customer owned 66/11kV Power transformer.
Tansterne 66kV ICP works:
NPG Commissioning of the 66kV compound and associated circuit breakers, disconnector and protection panels.
Accelerated Loss of Mains Change Programme (ALoMCP) change on a Scottish windfarm
After liaising with the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO), the works were carried out in line with the ALoMCP. The protection settings were upgrading in line with EREC G59/3-7. Full supporting evidence was submitted in line the required pro-forma / delivery assurance policy.

Compass HV Services Ltd were asked to commission the newly installed 11kV Switchboard and integrate with the DNO network and the existing factory transformers.
Complete End of Warranty (EoW) switchboard tests on a local wind farm
After being asked to carry out the EoW tests by the O&M operator, Compass HV completed the required tests and reported our finding, enabling the owner to capture the issues whilst still within the warranty period.
